The Homwarm 'XILO' Helps to Warm Towels and Other Materials
Michael Hemsworth — October 29, 2016 — Art & Design
The design of wall heaters is usually quite stark in nature, but the Homwarm 'XILO' identifies how the technology can be merged with natural design elements. Using a piece of wood that has been implemented with HOM heating technology, the Homwarm 'XILO' enables a towel or other garment to be hung off it and heated or dried. The unit is capable of being implemented into humid locations thanks to the device's IPX4 water protection rating, which makes it great for use in the bathroom.
The Homwarm 'XILO' wall heaters is the design work of Italy-based designer Davide Vercelli and identify how a naturalistic touch can be given to modern technology. This makes it seem less foreign in the home environment and create a more comfortable aesthetic.
