I don't know if Wafaa Bilal is crazy or just desperately devoted to his work, but he will be implanting a camera into the back of his head for an art project. Entitled 'The 3rd I,' the project has him streaming live images to a museum in Qatar.
An assistant professor of photography at New York University, Wafaa Bilal will have the camera in his head for a year. This has raised concerns over privacy in the institution. Yet, according to a press release, it is simply "a comment on the inaccessibility of time, and the inability to capture memory and experience."
