Facebook has released the second edition of its VR animations tool Quill. Quill 2.0 has a number of new capabilites which will enable creatives to work only using a VR system. This means from concept sketches to creating VR animations, Quill 2.0 can be used from the beginning of a project to the end.
New features on the Quill platform include narrative sequencing, audio syncing, as well as short transitions. However, a particularly noteworthy update on the platform is titled Stops. This will enable users to pause parts of a given screen while the rest plays. The new tools to the platform will allow creators to change angles in the VR environment to make sure all the details are correct.
