The Volkswagen Park Assist Campaign Imagines Scary Car Situations

The idea of parallel parking can be scary enough without thinking about the possibility of such slim pickings as imagined by the Volkswagen Park Assist campaign. Squeezing in between a gang of motorcycles and police car, a car-jacked vehicle and glass truck or a porta potty and hurst can be straight out of a person's parking nightmare. Nevertheless, with Park Assist technology, these anxiety-ridden situations can be handled with ease.

The Volkswagen Park Assist campaign was conceived and executed by Sydney-based ad agency DDB. Hilariously photographed by Andreas Bommert, the ad campaign was art directed and creative directed by Steve Wakelam and Nick Pringle. The concept has been so well executed, the viewer cannot help but experience a twinge of apprehension just looking at the images.
