Connecting to WiFi, the 'Talkies' enable children to speak with parents or other family members by sending messages that are easily recorded on the device. Created by Toymail, which originally created WiFi walkie-talkies for kids, 'Talkies' allow parents to stay connected throughout the day.

Coming in four different models including a mouse, bat, dinosaur and shark, 'Talkies' are currently available for preorder and are expected to hit the retail market next month. As parents seek to have children comfortable around technology, 'Talkies' help to allow children to send messages without having to use a traditional smartphone or tablet.
