Effervescent Botanical Editorials

The Vogue January 2014 Editorials Celebrates Florals

The 'Flower Girls' editorial for the Vogue January 2014 issue takes a tropical spin on the traditional bridal party role. Rather than featuring some cherub-cheeked twelve-year-olds scattering petals, the spread sees Oscar Isaac, Liya Kebede and Imaan Hammam in some upbeat florals.

Their funky floral ensembles, hand-picked by Camilla Nickerson, are further accentuated by the exotic locale. James Pecis styled the hair into natural, easy 'do's (complete with appropriate flowers tucked behind the ears), while Mark Carrasquillo was responsible for their seductive eyes and plum lip color.

It might seem excruciating thinking about how many more months of winter we have waiting for us, by the Vogue January 2014 issue reminds us that Spring is indeed right around the corner. And a lucky few will even be jet-setting to a balmy vacation spot.
