Social Lite Vodka in a can was developed by two entrepreneurs from Toronto, Dan Beach and Kevin Folk, who craved a health-conscious beverage they could enjoy with friends, without feeling awful the next day. As a result, Social Lite was created as a vodka-based beverage that's made without sugar and artificial sweeteners. Fresh flavors like Lemon Cucumber Mint and Lime Ginger come in slender cans that boast only 80 calories.
The health-conscious beverages are skewed towards women, but the brand also appeals to people who strive for balance in their lives through healthy avtivities and socializing.
CEO of Venture Communications and former Dragons' Den star Arlene Dickinson is now a Social Lite partner and is working to push the product's packaging, personality and presence of the Canadian start-up on the market.
