The Olympics Commercial Shows the Ways Customers Can Pay With Visa

Visa's Olympics commercial, 'The Carpool to Rio,' shows all the ways that Visa customers can pay for their purchases.

As one of the Olympic Games' top sponsors, the Visa Olympics commercial features Olympians from various countries including the US and Canada. The new Visa Olympic ad shows US swimmer Missy Franklin using the card chip to pay for gas and US Decathlon competitor Ashton Eaton purchasing snacks with the Visa mobile payment.

Visa is sponsoring 46 Olympians at the Rio Olympic Games. 'The Carpool to Rio' ad was created in 17 variations so that in any market, like the Middle East or Mexico, the ad will include local athletes. Since Visa is a sponsor of the International Olympic Committee, other than cash, it is the only way to purchase Olympic tickets and packages.
