These renderings indicate how archibiotect Vincent Callebaut envisions the smart city of Paris in the year 2050. The imaginary architecture sees Paris as an ecological pioneer with greenery integrated into all sorts of buildings and structures.
In the Vincent Callebaut project every building has a designated function, from bio-air condition capable Mountain Towers to photocatalytic smog-erasing towers where currently only abandoned rail tracks sit. New towers appear to be integrated into standing establishments, adding a particularly impressive layer to the plan. In addition to transforming several existing areas to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly, the architect also appraised each addition, showing the impact construction would have and ensuring they would be making a positive impact on the historic city.
