Villa Omah Prana by Alexis Dornier is a ring-shaped residence located in the highlands of Payangan, Bali, organised around a central internal courtyard. The home uses a continuous circular plan that places all rooms along the outer perimeter, orienting living spaces toward the landscape and facilitating seamless indoor-outdoor connections. The living room opens to both the courtyard and the exterior terrain, while private areas such as bedrooms are enclosed and climate-controlled within the ring layout.
The design uses concentric geometry to define key elemen,ts including circulation, the swimming pool and built-in features, creating a consistent spatial logic throughout. Material choices draw from local tradition, including herringbone brickwork and timber detailing that reference Balinese craft and weave patterns. Large sliding openings connect interior spaces with the garden and surrounding greenery, while the continuous roof form unifies the structure and provides shade.
