adidas introduces a new piece to join its A-ZX series with the Vieux Lyon iteration of the ZX 5000 sneaker model. The name of the model references the city of Lyon and draws design inspiration from the location as well. This is where the invention of Jacquard weaving was born, which is seen throughout the sneaker's design.
The shoe celebrates the history of the technique, honoring its journey thorough design, innovation, and overall craftsmanship. The shoe boasts the weaved look throughout the custom upper in two different colors. The heel and the toe box is done in a gray for a muted tone and the ankle and the tongue get details of dark purple. The upper is then complete with custom lace jewels and branding is done in pink.
