Watch out, Kindle! Vook is company that has created book-video hybrids for online and mobile applications. Each Vook features short title-specific video clips that enhance stories, advance plots, or add depth to practical information.
Published in partnership with Simon and Schuster, Vook launched in October 2009. Other publishers have joined in to create a collection of about twenty-five Vooks. Pricing ranges between $299 and $16.99 US.
Implications - Bradley Inman is the inventor of Vook who wanted to create something that would turn books and videos into a "blended story."
