This Restaurant is Equipped with a Video Conferencing System

'Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar' boasts a video conferencing system that allows diners to share a meal with friends and family who are far away. Dining is a social activity that is often shared with friends, family and colleagues. However, it is not always possible for everyone to gather in one location at a given time.
In order to help bring people together, Fleming's allows diners to set up a video conference with those who cannot attend a special occasion. The 'Cisco TelePresence' system is designed to facilitate face-to-face contact between diners even when they are in different locations. The video conferencing system is housed in a private dining home, which gives customers the opportunity to chat with their virtual companion. The system is equipped with two-way video conferencing, which means that each user can interact with the other in real time.
Although Fleming's is the only restaurant chain to use this video conferencing system, other industries are gradually turning to video chat technology as a way to enhance consumer applications.
