Futuristic Video Conferencing Technology

Google and HP Continue to Build on Project Starline

Google continues to grow its partnership with HP with its latest addition to the Project Starline which first kicked off in 2021. The two are launching a futuristic video conferencing technology and when this project first started, the inaugural version was a 3D video chat booth that projected a visual of the person they were talking to.

This technology has since been elevated as Google streamlined the system as a whole. There is no longer a video chat booth as it has been altered to feature elements such as a large television and cameras. It will now be integrated into classic video conferencing apps such as Zoom and Google Meet and HP describes it as an “immersive collaboration experience.”
