Instagram added a video chat feature, as well as other functions, in doer to help people stay connected while they remain indoors due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Additionally, users will be able to share media content while in a video chat. Instagram users can access the video chat feature by tapping the icon, which is located in the Direct inbox, or in a conversation thread.
The platform also added a 'Stay Home' sticker, which users can attach to photos or their stories. The sticker will help to promote awareness about the need to practice social distancing during the outbreak of the virus.
