These vertical shelves designed by Alessandra Meacci make up unique, mystical shapes.
Resting on panels that are attached a wall, the bookshelves work as functional art pieces in the home. They come in a variety of shapes and themes, with an 'Under the Sea' theme featuring a large blue tentacle and sharks and a 'Jungle Book' theme that is an abstract shape with forest green colors. Unlike most bookshelves which are horizontal, these shelves have vertical slots to hold books and magazines. The unusual style makes the shelves look like 3D pieces of artwork, when in reality the home decor is functional.
These vertical shelves are both stylish and creative and would make for excellent decor in eccentric modern homes that need interesting, standout pieces.
