The essential vent grates that are situated in various parts of many urban locations around the world could feature a more charming design thanks to the ingenuity of the Air Garden. Consisting of planters that are held above the grates, the Air Garden works to help hide the unsightly grates from view without restricting their use as a ventilation system.
The Air Garden is the design work of Mihyun Cho and Jiyoon Lee, and would enable grass to be planted overtop. As gusts of wind travel up the vent grate the grass would dance in the breeze to create a visual experience for urban citizens to enjoy rather than having to stare at essential but unsightly grates.
