Mattel Launches Barbie-Inspired Kids Vegan Roleplay Makeup

Mattel is launched a new Barbie-inspired range of vegan roleplay makeup after a sealed multi-year partnership with Spain's Mondo Toys. The line of clean makeup [products are cruelty-free, organic, and produced with a focus on sustainability.

The toy giant will include lipstick, three eyeshadows, a lip gloss, a makeup case, and various bags. There are very few clean cosmetics targeted at kids, and Mattel's line aims to become a trailblazer in this sphere. Using vegan ingredients and environmentally sustainable material, the line follows Mattel's new focus on greener products and programs.

Some of the brand's other recent eco-initiatives include the Mattel PlayBack toy recycling program, and its Barbies Loves the Ocean line, featuring three dolls made from 90% recycled ocean plastic.
