Almond Joys are one of the most well-known chocolate bars opting for an unforgettable coconut taste and texture. These homemade versions are made in a food processor using dates, shredded coconut, roasted almonds and semi-sweet dairy-free chocolate. The dates and coconut are blended up and then the mixture is rolled into cylinders. Each piece has an extra almond pressed into it before being dipped into melted chocolate. When the candies are hard and set they taste just like the store-bought version with much less processed ingredients and a great taste.
