Riot Games Celebrates VALORANT’s 5th Anniversary with a Creator Tournament

As part of its ongoing fifth anniversary celebrations, Riot Games is leveling up the festivities with the launch of a brand-new event: VALORANT IGNITE. This special tournament puts a fresh spin on competitive play, bringing together popular streamers and creators from outside the FPS genre—many of whom are stepping into the world of VALORANT for the first time.

From July 9 to 12, 2025, creators will embark on a crash course in tactical shooter gameplay, receiving daily coaching sessions live on stream. Guiding them through the action are two of VALORANT’s most respected esports minds Connor ‘Sliggy’ Blomfield and Jacob ‘mini’ Harris, who will each lead a team on their journey.

The event will culminate in an electrifying on-stage showdown, where the teams will face off in front of a live audience to determine who will claim the title of VALORANT IGNITE Champion.
