Amazon Partners with Riot Games to Host a VALORANT Community Event

Amazon has announced a collaboration with game publisher Riot Games for the RE/LOAD end-of-year event, which celebrates the VALORANT community and its esports initiatives. The pro-am competition for RE/LOAD, which will take place on December 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, will include a variety of content creators, including Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek and Jacky ‘Stewie2K’ Yip. The event will also feature musical performances by Dabin and Mike Dimes.

Amazon and Riot Games have collaborated on several initiatives in recent years, including a multi-title agreement with Prime Gaming and an agreement with Amazon Web Services to "change" the way Riot's esports content is produced. RE/LOAD offers attendees a variety of "onsite activities” as Amazon continues to expand its efforts in the esports sector.
