The Valentino Fall 2014 Haute Couture Collection Channels Greek Goddess

The Valentino Fall 2014 haute couture collection was a stunning affair and received rave reviews after the Paris runway show. The Italian brand chose a whimsical woodland set in Paris, which set the mood perfectly for the dreamy collection to follow.

Creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli were inspired by pre-Raphaelite art for the Valentino Fall 2014 haute couture collection. Letting the clothes do all the talking, the models sported simple, center-parted hair and Grecian flat sandals. For the clothes themselves, the collection was pregnant with light, airy and feminine pieces. From long-sleeve dresses and below-the-knee hemlines in transparent materials to chic draping and leather accents that give off a Roman goddess look, the romantic collection was a flawless mix of modern shapes and haute couture craftwork.
