Valentine's Day for singles can be a borderline torturous experience, especially considering the constant bombardment from businesses eager to remind us that if you aren't one-half of a deliriously-in-love couple, there's something wrong with you.
That's why Tamara Levitt, of BeginWithin.ca, has taken the liberty of creating 'You Are Enough,' an animated short film that aims to send a positive message of self-love to those who find themselves single this February 14th. The two-minute video dispels the popular myth that you need a partner to "complete" you, and instead focuses on the joys that singledom can yield.
She explains, "My hope is that this video reminds people on ANY DAY of the year that they aren’t 'lacking' simply because they aren’t in a relationship. But especially on a tricky day like Valentine's Day, let this video serve as inspiration to offer some juicy self-love, and an appreciation for the many gifts that come from being single."
