Fritz Hansen presents a look at the Utzon stool which is designed by Jørn Utzon -- this also marks the start of a renewed connection between the two which originally started in the mid-60s. The stool is very comfortable and rests on top of an oiled beech wood foundation supporting bulbous shapes to form the seat.

The creative design director of Fritz Hansen, Marie-Louise Høstbo shares “In this stool you have all of Utzon’s fascination with organic shapes, his creativity and inspiration from nature. He had this very sculptural way of working and this is expressed as well. The base is clearly inspired by how he perceived nature as the ultimate model, his sculptural approach, and the structural elements in his furniture.”
