French-based high-end audio manufacturer Focal recently released two new top-tier additions to its Utopia speakers lineup. The two new models include the Utopia EM Evo and Stella Utopia EM Evo, both of which feature high-quality construction and performance, with the main difference being the Grande Utopia's four-way reference monitor to the three-way of the Stella Utopia. Each model will feature the electromagnetic woofers and beryllium tweeters used in past Utopia speakers models, but will now also feature the company's Tuned Mass Damping (TMD) technology.
The aesthetics of the Utopia line continue on with these two new models as Focal has become known for a unique leaning tower design. The purpose of this design is not just for aesthetic features, as each driver is aimed perfectly at ear level for listeners in a seated position. The new models of Utopia speakers do feature updated paint schemes, inspired by automotive design and are available in Metallic Blue, British Racing Green, Black Laquer and Carrara White.
