Upgradable Vehicle Interfaces

Lucid Brings Its Latest Digital Experience to Existing Air Models

Lucid is expanding upgradable vehicle interfaces with Air UX 3.0, a major software update designed to modernize the digital experience across eligible Lucid Air models. The update introduces redesigned controls, swipeable home cards, improved multitasking and smarter EV routing based on charging networks, adapter compatibility and desired arrival range. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also gain more display space, while faster profile switching and additional security controls improve personalization.

Delivered over the air to model year 2025 and newer vehicles, Air UX 3.0 demonstrates how software-defined cars can gain substantial functionality after purchase. Lucid is also offering eligible older vehicles a $950 infotainment processor upgrade, extending newer capabilities across more of its installed base. This approach can strengthen long-term owner relationships, create post-purchase revenue opportunities and help older vehicles remain technologically competitive without requiring customers to replace their cars.
