Converse sneakers are a wardrobe staple for many due to their simple and nostalgic appearance, but the canvas shoes are hardly weather-resistant -- until now with the Urban Utility line. The waterproof Converse shoes will keep your feet drier. Arriving December 5th, the footwear range will arrive just in time for less forgiving winter weather.

Urban Utility is a collaboration between Converse and Gore (the makers of Gore-Tex fabric). The shoes fill a gap between hardy rainboots and regular running shoes. The line doesn't just include footwear either. The collaborative collection by Converse, artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt and Italian streetwear label Slam Jam consists of the waterproof Utility Jacket, the reconstructed original Chuck '70 Hiker and the paratrooper-inspired Converse Jump Boot.
