The Conceptual Urban Rainwater Collector Offers Potable Water
Michael Hemsworth — February 12, 2020 — Eco
The conceptual Urban Rainwater Collector has been designed by Venn IDC as a fixture for public parks that would help to support the increasing number of animals in urban areas. The system works by being positioned in a public park and going to work collecting rain water through the upper canopy that is then purified before being dispensed at the lowest section. This offers a place for dogs and cats, owned or stray, to access essential hydration throughout the day; built-in access points for humans lets them empty water bottles into the system if there hasn't been much rain in the forecast.
The conceptual Urban Rainwater Collector also features an overhead tent that provides people and animals alike with a dedicated place to escape the sun's rays.
