Jeff Bloch is someone who enjoys to race cars, and when he designed this vehicle he wanted to make sure he shocked everyone who saw it. This vehicle is a combination of two other cars, and parts like the engine had to be refitted in order to accompany this odd shape.

During a race, a car in this shape would be particularly horrifying. It would look as though Bloch has rolled his vehicle, and many viewers would think he is in dire need of help.
