The Up & Down Box Can Hold Almost 70% More Than the Conventional Crate

Given the shape of the standard beer bottle, with its long and narrowing neck, great voids are left when they're packed together in pretty much anything other than the Up & Down Box. With each container oriented in the same direction, big openings remain around the tops. This opportunities for the placement of additional vessels within.

This was the idea of Jung HoeYeong, So ByungHyun, Lee HyoMin, Ryu JaeKeon and Lim JooYoung. The cases have been designed to take less than double the height of bottles, yet they accommodate the arrangement of 30 upright ones and 20 downward-facing ones in between. Grooves have been molded in the tough plastic material of the Up & Down Box to support the drink bottles that are positioned in both ways.
