Modernized Toronto Hotels

The Union Hotel Boasts Local Inspiration and Historic Charm

Set to open in mid-January 2025, the Union Hotel brings a new approach to locally inspired hospitality in Toronto’s financial district. Combining elements of the city’s history with a modern sensibility, the hotel provides a distinctive experience for visitors.

Located near Union Station, the hotel features "a charcoal façade adorned with a mural inspired by Toronto’s unofficial raccoon mascot and offers 189 rooms, each uniquely styled with vintage-inspired design and nostalgic elements; select rooms also provide unique views referred to as 'raccoon views.'" Guest experiences are further enhanced through curated amenities, including personalized in-room music and sustainable products from Cryc while art from local Toronto artists is displayed throughout the property, reflecting the city’s diverse culture.

Humble Donkey, the hotel’s café and lounge, serves "Sam James Coffee Bar beverages during the day and transforms into a lively space for espresso martinis in the evening." Ultimately, the Union Hotel blends history, culture, and modern amenities for a unique stay.
