Le Crueset's New pot is a similar shade to Pantone's Ultra Violet

Earlier in the year, Pantone announced that the 2018 color of the year was a vibrant purple dubbed, Ultra Violet. Following this announcement, the French cookware brand, Le Creuset, introduced a gorgeous new pot of a similar purple shade, that'll help any chef keep their kitchen looking stylish and up-to-date.

According to the brand, this pot drew its main source of inspiration from the blooming lavender fields that can be seen in the summer in Provence, a region in the south of France. The pot offers a gradient colorway, with the deeper purple hue appearing closer to the bottom, and the softer purple being featured closer to the top, creating a beautiful ombre-like effect.

In addition to the coloring, this pot promises to be long-lasting and durable.
