UFC Facebook Streaming Offers Sidestep TV to Bring Fights to Fans

In a remarkable move that may very well spell the beginning of the end of Television’s uncontested monopoly on live sporting events, a recent UFC Facebook streaming campaign has offered a high-profile match to any Facebook user that ‘likes’ their page.

The move comes on the heels of a smaller-scale test run that the UFC undertook last month in which a live charity fight was offered to those who had ‘liked’ their Fan Page. The resulting publicity brought in a staggering 123,000 additional fans alone, so it’s not surprising that an even more ambitious UFC Facebook streaming campaign has now been undertaken.
