When Ruby Tuesday needed a new brand image, they often refer to it as â€œblowing upâ€ the old image. The boys (and they were boys) decided to take it literally and one of the 984 restaurants will go up in a cloud of tsotchkes.
The blowing of the chunks was supposed to occur at 3 p.m. EDT today. After the blast, the new branding campaign begins with a â€œslightly over-enthusiasticâ€ approach in trying to help people adapt to changes. However, instead of demolishing Ruby's, the company accidentally blew up Cheeky's instead and profusely apologized.
