Blowing Up Wrong Buildings

Ruby Tuesday Screw Up

When Ruby Tuesday needed a new brand image, they often refer to it as “blowing up” the old image. The boys (and they were boys) decided to take it literally and one of the 984 restaurants will go up in a cloud of tsotchkes.

The blowing of the chunks was supposed to occur at 3 p.m. EDT today. After the blast, the new branding campaign begins with a “slightly over-enthusiastic” approach in trying to help people adapt to changes. However, instead of demolishing Ruby's, the company accidentally blew up Cheeky's instead and profusely apologized.
