Warheads Atomic Fizz Sales Detonate Real, Controlled Explosions

For the introduction of Warheads Atomic Fizz, which combines the experience of Warheads Extreme Sour Hard Candy with a fizzy explosion at the center, Impact Confections is blowing up its Wally mascot with more impressive explosions as sales rise.

At the secure Atomic Fizz Testing Facility located on a closed course in the desert, professional technicians are launching the extreme new candy with a bang. Planned to coincide with milestone sales thresholds, the explosions are captured with video releases on social media for 250,000 units sold, then 375,000 and 500,000.

"Eating Warheads Atomic Fizz takes you on a journey from the Extreme Sour coating, through the sweet fruity candy, ending with a fizzy explosion in the center," said Lindsay Karlin, vice president of marketing and development. Warheads Atomic Fizz dropped in five flavors: blue raspberry, watermelon, black cherry, green apple and lemon.
