Uber's deliveries are about to get a whole lot more adorable -- on the momentous occasion of National Cat Day, the San Francisco-based ridesharing service is delivering cats for people to snuggle with.
Residents of seven select cities -- San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Seattle, Phoenix and Austin -- will be able to fork out $30 for 15 minutes of snuggling time with a furry feline. The price may seem steep, but all proceeds from the initiative -- dubbed UberKITTENS -- go towards local cat shelters. The $30 fee is a minimum -- users are welcome to donate more.
The deliveries will be available on National Cat Day from noon to 4 pm. All you have to do is open the Uber app on your smartphone and select the 'KITTENS' option.
