As modern as they come, the design almost looks interactive since the panelling appears to be able to fold inwards. Yet it is simply the form that gives it this look. Quite static, it is made out of metal, which is both sleek and chic.
Created for lamp manufacturer Lampslite, the U32-1 by SHIFT is inspired by "contemporary urban trends; particularly the tension and structure of the modern city landscape," writes the studio. It boasts two icosahedric geometries, which give it its unique angular appeal. Available in black or white, the U32-1 by SHIFT emits a warm glow that will add to the ambiance of any living space.
