Sometimes when inventive people have nothing to do, or just a little bit of extra energy, they make things. For instance, I had nothing better to do this morning, so I built a better, faster, killer PC. Not going to change the world with it, but it was fun.
On the other hand, some people choose to make things that nobody could have possibly seen coming. Such is the case with this Twitter-powered popcorn machine. The inventors made what could only be described as a robotic steampunk popcorn machine that takes its cue from #popcorn tweets. Check the video.
