Twitch is Rolling Out a Daily 'Story' Feature on its Mobile App

Twitch, the leading live streaming platform for gamers, has recently launched a new feature called Stories on its mobile app. Stories are short posts that expire in 48 hours and can include images, text, channel emotes, and live stream clips. Stories allow streamers to share updates, behind-the-scenes, and other content with their followers when they are not live.

The Stories feature is designed to help streamers grow their community and engage with their audience on Twitch, without having to rely on external platforms. Followers can react to stories with emotes and get notified when a new story is posted. Currently, only Partners and Affiliates who have streamed at least once in the past 30 days can create stories, but Twitch plans to add more features and extend access to more streamers in the future. Stories can be found at the top of the Following page on the Twitch mobile app.
