Using the malleability of twist ties, London-based artist Elain Duigenan creates intricate sculptures that come together to form whimsical shapes.

The artist titled this collection 'Blossfeldt's Apprentice' after the German artist who was known for his plant paintings. The sculptures are all white and photographed on black backdrops in order to make their intricate detailing stand out. Showing everything from bouquets to swirling plants and seemingly dead trees, the sculptures combine simplicity with talent to make this powerful end product. It is difficult to imagine that only twist ties were involved in the process of making this artwork.

These architectural pieces of art work to create a mystical atmosphere without having to resort to overly complex processes.
