Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Trader Joe's is helping you prep your taste buds for the big meal with its new Turkey Sausage Stuffing Fried Rice.
Though fried rice isn't a traditional Thanksgiving side dish, Trader Joe's wants to give fried rice a bit of a festive makeover. The grocery brand's new Turkey Sausage Stuffing Fried Rice starts with long grain rice, which is then combined with onion, celery, breadcrumbs, and holiday herbs like rosemary, parsley, and thyme – all to mimic the taste of stuffing. The mixture is then paired with Thanksgiving vegetables like carrots, green beans, corn, and fried onions. Finally, some turkey sausage is thrown into the mix. All you have to do is sautee the mixture with a bit of butter or oil and get ready for a big bite of Thanksgiving flavors.
