The Tube Series is aptly named. Inspired by a distinctive cylindrical shape, it is comprised of two clocks and a speaker. One of the clocks looks to be the matching partner of the speaker while the second clock adds another dimension by taking on the form of a rectangle. Not to mention that the latter is made primarily out of wood while the former two are fashioned out of aluminum.
Overall, the Tube Series shows that practical items can also be incredibly chic and decorative. Bring a sculptural element to the home, the Tube Series appeals to customers that are cultured and contemporary. The collection was created as a collaborative project by Piet Hein Eek and young design brand Leff Amsterdam.
