Colin Kaepernick's True to 7 Jersey Honors His Values

Nike launches the Icon Edition True to 7 jersey with Colin Kaepernick and it has sold out in record time. It is designed to celebrate the four year mark since Kaepernick took his knee in the NFL. The jersey is complete in an all-black base foundation detailed with the athlete's number "7."

It is further decorated with patchwork that reads "K" and the Nike Swoosh embroidered on as well. It launched on September 11th and sold out under a minute at the price of $150 USD per jersey. Nike comments, “The Colin Kaepernick Icon Jersey 2.0 marks Nike’s continued product collaboration with Colin and celebrates those making a positive impact in their community through sport and education. This celebration is represented in the meaning behind the line, True to 7.”
