Hyper-Chilled Pineapple Snacks

Trü Frü Launches White Chocolate Covered Pineapple Snack at Target

Trü Frü, a company specializing in frozen fruit snacks, has announced the launch of its new 'Piña Colada, White Chocolate and Coconut Covered Pineapple' snack. With these bite-sized tropical snacks, Trü Frü aims to bring the comfort of a beach vacation to consumers' homes.

Trü Frü's 'Piña Colada' snack is made using fully ripened pineapple, which is then immersed in a blend of white chocolate and roasted coconut before being hyper-chilled in the company's "chamber of frozen freshness" -- a proprietary process that intends to lock in the fruit's flavor.

Trü Frü prides itself on using the freshest fruit available. "For Piña Colada our star is the best Costa Rican Pineapple, picked at the peak of ripeness. After that, it is all about the pairing. Pairing matters. We want the chocolate to complement the fruit, never dominating," said Taz Murray, Co-Founder of Trü Frü.
