Inspired by Dumbledore (a fictional character in the Harry Potter books), trolls, and chilly weather, the Troll Chair was crafted, according to the designers, with three things in mind: it had to have enough room for curling up with a good book, a comfortable seat when having a child on your lap, and a comfortable seat for talking and socializing.
