'Treat Yourself' is the name of an all-new vegan candy line from Dylan Lauren, the owner of Dylan's Candy Bar and the daughter of fashion designer Ralph Lauren.
The vegan-friendly candy line boasts sour straws and sour unicorn magic candies and a simple style of packaging that helps to differentiate the new offerings from existing products. As Lauren herself describes: "because everything else is so colorful, I want people to understand it's vegan, it's gluten-free, nut-free, allergen-free."
From gelatin in gummy bears to candies coated with confectioner’s glaze (which comes from an insect secretion), it can be a challenge for vegans to indulge their sweet tooth with products that won't compromise their stance on the ethical treatment of animals and the planet.
