Popping Candy Frappuccinos

Starbucks Japan Created a 'Treat with Trick' Drink for Halloween

Starbucks Japan is celebrating the arrival of spooky season with a brand-new menu item, the Treat with Trick Frappuccino and it's a limited-edition treat that's full of surprises. The drink is actually the Roasted Sweet Potato Frappuccino dressed up in disguise since it has a darker overall appearance thanks to the addition of chocolate powder and a purple potato-flavored sauce.

True to its name, the Halloween beverage offers a mischievous twist in the form of popping candy. By customizing the drink with a Popping Topping, customers can experience the seasonal beverage with candy coated in white chocolate that pops in the mouth. There are four different designs to collect and by scanning the QR code on the pack, customers will get access to special costume customizations.
