Fiat's Multiplay concept turns a family car into a pickup by sliding a rear module called Metamorfosi. Unveiled at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, the concept is built to switch between a covered six-seat layout and an open-bed four-seat setup.
That rear section creates room for bicycles, sports gear and larger cargo, while the spoiler can flip into a rack for two bikes. Inside, the concept also adds a seat that works as a child seat, pet space, table or storage area.
At 4.45 meters long, Multiplay gives Fiat a compact format for testing how one vehicle can cover school runs and weekend hauling. The moving rear structure makes flexible packaging the main selling point, a direction that could influence future family-focused concepts beyond the pickup category.
