Storyteller Overland is introducing GEAR MODE, an adventure van that adapts its interior around changing cargo, living, and working needs. Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 AWD platform, the van uses a GearShift modular panel system to switch between Gear, Bed, Bench, and Table configurations. Its GearWall opens the rear into a cargo bay, while integrated L-track provides secure tie-down points for equipment. Off-grid features include onboard power, climate control, water storage, and Starlink Mini prewiring.
The flexible design broadens the van’s potential audience beyond traditional campers to outdoor enthusiasts, contractors, and business owners who need both cargo capacity and functional living space. Three STR, ADV, and MAX trims create multiple price and capability levels, while the adaptable layout allows Storyteller to address recreational and professional use cases with one vehicle platform.
