In April, California's Tomorrowland theme park is opening a life-size Toy Story Pizza Planet. The animation-inspired and space-themed pizza restaurant will take the place of Redd Rockett's Pizza Port. The thematically appropriate space is sure to be popular with both children and young adults. On one hand, there is the appeal of the animated film and the action-packed family-friendly narrative. On the other hand, the Toy Story Pizza Planet made its debut in the first film on November 22nd, 1995—this means that the new Disneyland arcade restaurant will hit a nostalgic note with the Millennial generation.
Sure to be an instant success, the new pizzeria will be named 'Alien's Pizza Planet—A Better Place,' referencing the mantra of the Little Green Men "going to a better place when they're captured by the claw machine."
